KNOW YOUR WORTH

What is your worth? And how on earth would you determine it?

For the longest time, I calculated my worth according to my failures, inadequacies and any other evidence I could find to prove that I was pretty much incompetent. And the more I looked, the more evidence I would find to support this! I was constantly viewing my life through filters that highlighted the false beliefs I held about myself.

Fear ruled my heart, mind and life. I simply could not risk trying something new because, should I fail at it, it would only prove (once again!) how useless I was.

I would never see any of the good in me and calculate my worth according to that! Only the bad. This made me question people’s motives for wanting to be around me. Any responsibility given to me would immediately lead me to draw the conclusion that all the “talented” people were too busy and I was the only choice left.

The truth is, even if everyone around you were constantly trying to persuade you of your significance, it would not make a difference to how you view yourself. Being told or convinced by others of your worth are simply words that “bounce” off your conscious mind.  These believes are deeply rooted in your subconscious mind, and merely hearing or being told that they are untrue will not alter them.

But understanding this core belief and CHANGING it really did change my view of myself and my life! I am now able to embrace opportunities that, before, would have left me quivering with fear and then running for the hills!

I now KNOW and BELIEVE that I am wanted, talented, more than capable and one of a kind! I have exchanged my filters through which I view myself for new ones that show me ALL THE GREATNESS in me. I easily see this and I am able to direct my life in a way that helps me thrive! I dare to dream, and dream BIG, without the fear of being disappointed or being reminded of my shortcomings should my dreams only remain dreams.

Restructuring my beliefs has had a great impact on my relationships too! Instead of doubting people’s motives, I now understand that they see my value and WANT me to be a part of their lives.  I see that my input is valuable and much needed.

You see, as long as you hold the belief that you are defective, unlovable or unworthy, it will be impossible for you to see who you really are and how much potential you possess.

Understanding your worth means seeing yourself for who you REALLY are.

Free from all the fabricated filters that we collect from infancy.

Free from painful perceptions we hold.

Free from all mangled memories.

Have you valuated yourself lately? Is it perhaps time for you to take the step and start ADDING to your WORTH?
